PIUG 2011 Annual Conference - Preliminary Program is now available online

The preliminary program for the PIUG 2011 Annual Conference is now available online at: http://www.piug.org/2011/an11prog.php.

This meeting, PIUG's 23rd Annual Conference, will be held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Cincinnati, OH on May 21 - 26, 2011. The theme for the meeting is "Best Practices Beyond Free-text: The Value of Indexing and Classification when Searching and Analyzing Patents".

The conference will feature world-renowned experts on patent information for technology research and planning, for legal organizations, and for overall corporate IP management (technology licensing and related activities). The conference will include many opportunities for discussion and part of Tuesday afternoon will be dedicated to visiting the exhibit hall. Many workshops will also be held in conjunction with this meeting (before, during and after the technical sessions).

Volunteers are the lifeblood of PIUG. Being a Session Chair during the technical program portion of the conference is an easy and low committment way of exploring volunteering with PIUG.
