I'm having trouble locating a specific Russian patent. We already have access to abstracts in English from SciFinder and espacenet but the C document from espace is only 1 page long. And because the C document is available, the A document is not there. I've requested it from my usual document delivery service, but they find the same information.
Patent number (dates):
RU2213090 (C1) 2003-09-27
RU2002111495 (A) 2004-02-20
Oddly, I also found a Russian web database which said this patent was abandonded (the English wording was strange). Is there anywhere to check this for sure? Or to find the original application. We suspect that the invention may not have been novel, but would like to know for sure.
Update: Thanks everyone (these documents are now circulating madly around my company, lol). It's good to know that I'm not the only one that found this difficult.
Brian - it's odd that the dates don't match the ones in CAplus, since one of the researchers here found this citation on SciFinder!
Thanks to Ramesh and Oleksandr for the documents and to Oleksandr and Thomas for the status check.
I really didn't expect to find much additional information, much less get everything I asked for overnight! Thanks again.

Well, this isn't going to be much help, but I thought eapatis (http://www.eapatis.com/) might have something - no dice. I was also hopeful about TotalPatent, but I wasn't able to get anything beyond some original-language bibliographic information.
I'll post back if anything else occurs to me!

I see the record is in RUSSIAPAT on STN, but the full text link in that record just takes you to the single page record on esapcenet.
However, I found the patent was also covered in CAplus, and from the CAplus record, I see it was also analyzed for MARPAT. You could get a better idea of its content by looking at the indexing in those records. Might be easier to read English indexing, prepared from the Russian patent by one of our indexers, than it would be to read the Russian anyway. (At least it would be easier for me!)
I would also note that the dates you have associated with the A and C1 kind codes don't seem to match the ones in RUSSIAPAT or CAplus.
