I welcome consideration for consulting and any full- or part-time positions not requiring my relocation (from Rockville, MD). My resume is online at http://www.bioinfo.com/resume.html.

I am both an information and subject specialist in pharmaceutical and biotechnology areas, including competitive intelligence, technology and market assessment, real-world problem solving, information resources development and concerning pharma/biotech products, technologies and industries. I am the author of BIOPHARMA: Biopharmaceutical Products in the U.S. and European Markets, the only reference/information resource concerning biopharmaceuticals (see http://www.biopharma.com); Biopharmaceutical Expression Systems and Genetic Engineering Technologies (see http://www.bioplanassociates.com/es/), the first directory of biopharmaceutical manufacturing technologies available for licensing (see http://www.bioplanassociates.com/es/); and for 15 years (1987-2003), I was the author of the Antiviral Agents Bulletin, the only periodical specializing in antiviral drug and vaccine development (see http://www.bioinfo.com/antiviral.html). For 5 years, I was Manager of Information Services, Porton International, then the largest privately-held biotechnology company.

Note, I am not a patent information specialist in the sense of most PIUG members! Working for my own 1-person company since 1991, I have had little opportunity to use high-end fee-based patent databases. Rather, I have much experience in technology transfer and am broadly facile at pharma/biotech information retrieval, analysis and assessment, including using patents as information sources.

Thank you.
