Blog from January, 2020

How to search efficiently in the growing amount of patent data from Asia and beyond? How to keep track of changes in worldwide IP legislation? Visit the EPO’s annual “East meets West” forum! During our two-day conference, we will address these and other issues in an informal atmosphere together with users and patent office delegates from all over the world. Use this opportunity to get an update on topics like:

  • Asian IP in practice
  • Asian file wrappers
  • Myanmar – a first glimpse at the new IP system

Learn from the experts in the plenary and smaller workshops and share experiences with delegates from patent offices, agencies, academia and industry. Get an update on new trends on the patent information market during a poster session and exhibitor presentations. There will be plenty of room for one-on-one discussions and networking.

Have a look at previous events in the archive and check out the programme at www.epo.org/emw. Contact asiainfo@epo.org for any further information. Registration is now open (deadline: 23 March 2020).

We look forward to welcoming you in Vienna!
